Mountain View, Calif. — November 30, 2005--Globetech Solutions, a premier provider of design verification and silicon test solutions, announced today availability of its latest verification intellectual property (VIP) product based on the newly released Consumer Electronics Advanced Technology Attachment (CE-ATA) industry standard. The VIP leverages Cadence’s verification process automation (VPA) technology to deliver an unparalleled plan-to-closure verification solution. The CE-ATA standard defines an optimized storage interface for small form-factor disk drives tailored to the needs of the handheld and consumer electronics market segments such as PDAs, mobile phones, digital cameras and others. The standard enjoys strong industry support by companies such as Hitachi, Intel, Marvell, Nokia, Seagate, and Toshiba. Globetech Solutions’ VIP fully automates verification of CE-ATA compliant Hosts or Devices. Written in the IEEE P1647 e Verification Language (HVL) and fully compatible with Cadence’s e Reuse Methodology (eRM), the CE-ATA VIP offers directed-random testbench automation, encapsulated checking and coverage collection capabilities. Furthermore, the environment supports coverage-driven verification and advanced management features and is optimized for Cadence’s Enterprise VPA family of products, such as Verification Manager.
